The RamDuct RAI is constructed from a high-impact resistant plastic, is paintable to match you engine, and ships with the seal of your choice, some adhesive to glue the seal ends together after any needed trimming and/ or test fitting, and an air cleaner/carb mounting gaskets. Just add your existing 14" air filter and lid. Smaller filters may also fit, such as the Ford "Hi-Po" style. See the image gallery above for pictures of customer installations.

Some Edelbrock carburetors with automatic choke may require a spacer to clear the choke assembly. Approximately 1/4" additional space is needed. Spacers are available at many auto parts stores.

Test engine is a Ford big block (FE series), 416 CID, with ceramic-coated headers. Idling and stop and go consisted of some general city driving during low-traffic hours. Hard acceleration consisted of approximately 60% throttle to enter a local freeway. Highway cruise consisted of 75MPH cruising in overdrive (about 2200 RPM).
