RPM Switch for the Trac-Pac™ Shift Light
Activate nitrous while in a certain RPM window. Activate an air shifter, or any other RPM-dependent device - automatically with your Trac-Pac shift light and this RPM switch accessory.
The Trac-Pac family of shift lights include a programmable RPM switch output. This accessory is needed to drive solenoid valves or other devices, it contains a relay that is controlled by the shift light. DO NOT connect any other relay, solenoid valve, light bulb, etc. to the switch output wire from the shift light. This will damage the shift light and void the warranty!
Setting the switch points is super easy, just use the Performance Optimizer App as you would for any of the other shift light settings (see here for more info).
Three modes of operation are supported:
- - Window switch, turns on at a lower RPM setting and turns off at a higher RPM setting (useful for nitrous)
- - On/Off switch, turns on when RPM is higher than the setting, off when it is below
- - Latching switch, turns on at a higher RPM, and stays on until RPM drops below a lower RPM (useful for keeping it on until the next gear is engaged)
